More About Me and My Class Goals
More about me and my class goals
My name is Mia Brown and I attend Pines Charter High School as an 11th grader. Many people who don't know me well perceive this sixteen-year-old girl as a quiet, academic-stricken, and shy person. To be honest, when asked about my hobby: it isn't something that doesn't light up like a bulb in my mind. I do enjoy cooking, drawing, and reading. Lately, I've picked up on cooking delicious foods that carry a savory smell with my dad and trying to analyze the latest book that I read. I also like to volunteer and join donation clubs. My family and my pet bird are also the very few jewels in my life. However, those "hobbies" aren't consistent throughout the years, and it seems that I don't carry any quality that makes me "interesting". So, that is why I see these blogs as a way to show my self-growth. I have a few strengths as well which are time management, self-control, and hard work put into my life so I can succeed in the near future. These strengths are evident in the classes I chose to take such as: AICE, AP, and Dual Enrollment. Furthermore, I plan to map out the start of my journey by possibly achieving the AA degree when I graduate.
Speaking of my goals to succeed, I have a few desires that I would like to earn from my AICE Media Studies class. The first goal would be that I can point out specific terminology and analyze the purpose of any media that is being shown to me. AICE Media requires the candidates to build up the skills and write about why the director adds those elements of media. To add on, I would like to gain writing skills in order to present my information in a clear and interesting manner. Obtaining those skills would not only help me in my AICE Media class, but for the future. Lastly, I expect that this class will show me how to present my information in a professional and interesting way that will leave an everlasting impression.
I am a character that has positive qualities in work ethics and the ability to strive for an academic future. Yet, I will learn to acknowledge that the "fun" side of me whether it is in hobbies, or an underlying passion needs more careful consideration. My goal for this class is to learn various techniques and utilize what I've learned in my work. Of course, my genuine goal is passing the exam for the AICE credit. This blog summarizes who I am and what I want to gain from these assignments in AICE Media Studies.
